The brand new Belgrade Community Library (also called the Belgrade Library and Community Center) opened in April 2025, replacing the old facility with a spacious modern gathering place that’s already become the heart of the community. The new building boasts dedicated spaces for kids’ entertainment and education, study rooms, reading and relaxation areas, and an extensive park right outside. Plus, its easily accessible location in Downtown Belgrade is just a 6-minute drive from Prescott Ranch!

Whether you’re looking for a quiet place for your kids to explore books, a space to connect with other families, or simply a welcoming community gathering spot, this state-of-the-art facility offers everything residents need to feel at home in Belgrade.

Children’s Library

The Children’s Library is stocked with books kids will love and features a reading area with comfy couches and plenty of space for play. There’s a computer section and an art station, complete with colored pencils and paper.

The massive windows look out onto Lewis & Clark Park – the perfect place to play in the summer. Kids will have a blast jumping around in the Splash Park, climbing on the playground, or just running around on the huge soccer and baseball field. There’s a skate park, native plants area, and BBQ pits too.

The library also holds tons of programs for kids, like storytime events, a preschool exercise program, after school clubs with rotating themes, and more! While not in the Children’s Library, don’t miss tours of the local fire station – they’re always a hit.

Young Adult Section

Yep, teens get their own space too. Comfy couches and chairs, reservable computers, an assortment of board games, and shelves of young adult books will make them feel right at home.

Teens can participate in an array of library activities, some of the most popular being the Dungeons & Dragons sessions, Video Game Hour, and Business Meetings (where teens help choose future library programs).

Adult Collection

The adult section is the library’s largest space, offering a wide range of resources and comfortable areas to read, work, and relax. You can use one of the many computers or iPads, browse the many rows of books and DVDs, and even grab seeds for your garden from the seed bank.

The library offers numerous adult programs too, like a book club, line dancing lessons, yoga classes, and Qigong sessions. Need a technology tutorial? The library’s got you covered, thanks to the library’s free Book-A-Tech program.

Community Reading Room

This space might just be the coziest spot in the library, thanks to a sizable fireplace, dimmer lighting, and comfy chairs. Grab one of the many puzzles, play a board game, or dive into a novel.

Special Use Rooms

• Study rooms: Each reservable study room has a computer, desk, and chair.
• Tech Room: Classes are occasionally held here.
• Community Room: A large room used for meetings and events.
• Makers Room: Craft activities are occasionally held in this room.
